Does this workout really work to get those summer abs? The answer is that it varies for everyone, due to body weight before starting the Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge. While I may not do another one of Chloe Ting’s workout programs, I am going to try and implement a more strict, workout structure. We all know that getting abs is the ultimate summer goal for many people. Recently I have been feeling so sluggish, bloated, and unmotivated, so I need to get back to it! However, I have noticed how much better I felt back when I was eating better and working out more. I am having such a hard time controlling myself in the kitchen and motivating to work out because I have no structure. I ended both intermittent fasting and Chloe Ting’s workout about two weeks ago now and honestly, I think I need to go back. There was no wasting time with figuring out what you want to do for the day because it was already planned out for you. If not for the physical changes, I would do it for the structure! The day-by-day program that she has laid out makes it SO much easier to fit a work out in every day. So in conclusion, it definitely works! I would say that if I ate less chocolate, I would see even better results. Before, I could only see slight definition in my upper abs, but BARELY. I really didn’t take any before pictures but I 100000% noticed ab lines from my upper to lower abs. However, I am proud to say that I never missed a day and that I made it to the end! It became so repetitive and I was so unmotivated. However, for the last week and a half I was getting bored of the workouts. I have to admit, I loved it for the first 2.5 weeks because it wasn’t the most painful exercises and because there was variety. I would usually do my Chloe Ting workouts between 8:45-9:30am right before school and somehow it made me less hungry! Chloe Ting’s 28 Dat Flat Tummy ChallengeĮveryone and their mother was doing these programs so I thought I should give it a try! So for 28 days straight, with some rest days in between, I completed the challenge!

One thing I found interesting is that I was less hungry on the days that I worked out in the morning. Other days, I wouldn’t feel hungry at all until the end of the 16 hour period. Some days, I would eat dinner earlier some days to reward myself and eat earlier the next day.

However, as time went on I figured out how to control myself. It helped the hunger slightly, but not completely. I drank TONS of water for the first week to fill my stomach. The first few days were a little rough because I was constantly thinking about food. I used the app Zero to help me keep track of my timing and it made the whole process so much easier! Most of the time, I stopped eating at 7p, and started eating at 11am the next day. So basically, I “fasted” for 16 hours and had an eating period of 8 hours. I am the kind of person who never misses a breakfast before school, so I was a little nervous. I don’t really care about my weight but my goal was to feel better and notice some physical changes. I didn’t take any “before” photos but I did lose about 5 pounds in the first week.

However, none of those excuses were valid anymore so I decided to go full force with intermittent fasting and Chloe Ting’s 28 day Flat Tummy challenge! The metrics I was telling myself that I’ll start working out in the morning when school ends and that I can’t try intermittent fasting because of my school schedule or that I can’t eat healthy because I don’t have enough time. As soon as quarantine started, I knew that I had to jump on my health game! I had been giving myself excuses for so long.
